Z-LYNK Receivers

Z-LYNK receivers, which provide the actual load switching are compact, easy to install and are available with contact ratings from 5 to 80 Amperes. Each receiver is individually identified using single or multiple addresses and internal contactors are also individually addressed. 65,535 addresses are available in addition to a unique 32 bit I.D. Receivers may be activated in groups or all simultaneously to suit various load management solutions. Since Z-LYNK receivers derive their power from the circuit to which they are connected no separate power supply is required. Contactors in the Z-LYNK receiver are self latching so as to remain in the open or closed position in the event of the loss of power. The receivers boast advanced electronic features making them suitable for a universal range of applications.

The type R03 receiver is designed to be fitted with either single or multiple contactors with ratings from 5 to 80 Amps suitable for load switching such as water or space heating, air conditioning or in general commercial applications etc.

The 'plug top' receiver is designed for simple installation up to 13Amp load for domestic type equipment and appliances. Used as part of a tariff incentive it can quickly and easily provide customer Incentives to remove major parts of their load from the network for short periods of time. The need to manage peak demand is increasing and this receiver allows a low cost method to achieve domestic load reduction.

The fundamental receiver circuitry is designed to be easily integratable with other equipment, allowing the possibility to 'build in' Z-LYNK remote control capability into almost any equipment.
