Z-LYNK High Power Transmitter (for HV/MV Networks)

The Z-LYNK HP Transmitter is specifically designed to transmit control data across an existing Distribution Network, typically Medium Voltage (11kV in U.K.). This compact transmitter connects to the LV side of either a standard distribution transformer or a special injection transformer depending on the installation requirements. A single transmitter will cover an entire MV network penetrating transformers downstream to reach all points on the LV side.

Installation time is short and there is no additional need for conditioning equipment. Transmitted data is unaffected by capacitor banks, overhead-to-underground transitions, voltage step-downs or harmonics. Successful tests have proved that feeder lengths of over 100 Kilometers do not present any signal problems. Transmitters may be controlled using simple software and accessed by a variety of media including PSTN, the Internet, or directly through wired or fibre connections. Optional features make possible the operation the Transmitter using a SMS message from a mobile phone or other management system software.
